How do you estimate the cost of a project?
We review your goals, measurements, existing conditions and material choices. After discussing the scope and any needed site visit, we prepare an itemized estimate showing the included work, allowances and exclusions.
Which areas do you serve?
Our base is near Lake Zurich. We work in nearby northwest suburbs, including Barrington, Kildeer, Deer Park, Fox River Grove and Crystal Lake. Send your project address so we can confirm service availability.
How do I request a free estimate?

Can I supply my own materials?
Yes, customer-supplied materials can be included in the project plan. We agree on who supplies each item in the estimate. Please confirm sizes, compatibility and delivery timing with Karl before purchasing.
How long will my project take?
Timing depends on the agreed scope, material availability, site conditions and any required approvals. We discuss the schedule after reviewing your project and confirm it with you before work begins.
What happens if the scope changes?
If you request additional work or an unexpected condition affects the plan, we discuss the change, price and schedule impact with you before proceeding. Your written estimate remains the reference for the agreed work.
